There's more to the acorn .....

in the olden days.....

Before the British Army used secure radios, personnel with specific appointments used call signs as identification on the radio.  For example, the Commanding Officer had the call sign 'Sunray'.  The Intelligence officer was graced with the call sign 'Acorn'.

With Stew, an ex-Intelligence Officer, Acorn was the start point for our logo; who knows how big an 80-year old Oak tree is??  We don't either but what we do know is that it is so much bigger than the acorn it grew from.  At 80 Summers we believe that by focusing on what we are good at and living fulfilled lives we can all grow to become so much more.

All that begins with Leading through Life; firstly the leadership of self and next the leadership of others.
